A PEACEFUL PEOPLE WITHIN 

A PEACEFUL PLACE

As for the people of Seremban, they were unlike more modern cities but akin to other towns like itself. We saw this on both the second and the third day, as we headed around looking for food and structures we also found interesting people to go with it. Back at Haji Shariff's Cendol, we found a variety of people that actually go to the shop. Not only tourists but the locals as well. We saw the more elderly population of the municipality sit there in the afternoon enjoying the cendol. We noticed that the fame of the shop had to come from somewhere and it wasen't from a smile from a random tourist thirsty for something to quench his sweet tooth, but rather the smiles of the people that tasted their best friend's cendol.

Even the shopkeepers were somewhat special. We guessed it was probably because of everyday practice and determination to earn the money and to make the customers happy. After all, it was the smile on the customers face at the end of the day that brought them back for more and made them spread the rumors that made the shop what it is today.

Looking around the shop, we saw an old photo of a man standing at his stall making what we could only guess to be cendol. Of course any consecutive guess would be to guess that we were looking ats the origin of this store. What was something so simple has now become an attraction in the town of Seremban.

While looking for a suitable structure, we came across the lake garden of Seremban. We decided it would be wise to investigate the kind of people that actually go to a place as peaceful as the lake garden, for we truly marveled at its tranquility. As we walked along the lake we saw people of all ages and backgrounds trying to fish. A multitude of fishing rods were lined along the lake, waiting for a catch. Wedding photos were also taken at this site because of its beauty.

In other parts of the lake garden, people were having picnics and sitting down with other friends talking and enjoying the sun. It seems as though people were enjoying the tranquility and peace of the lake gardens.
